The ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Softball new Press Box is now complete, thanks to a generous donation from Dr. George M. Rapier III ’69.  The first level features a concession stand and men’s and women’s restrooms. The second level houses two coaches offices, generous storage space, along with a climate-controlled elevated view for game management staff and home game broadcasting. Architects, Live Design Group (Birmingham, AL) and Builder, Harper Brothers Construction (Northport, AL).

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Auburn junior outfielder Jonah Todd has been named SEC Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Todd batted .571 (8-for-14) last week and helped lead the Tigers to a series win at top-10 Mississippi State. He had a career-high four RBI in the doubleheader lid lifter with the Bulldogs on Saturday and recorded four hits in seven at-bats and reached base eight times in the doubleheader sweep.

The Birmingport, Ala. native finished the week with five runs scored, four RBI and one stolen base.

Todd ranks second in the SEC with a .396 batting average on the season. He’s driven in 29 with 13 doubles and seven stolen bases.

He is the fifth Auburn player recognized by the SEC in 2017 joining Keegan Thompson, Will Holland, Davis Daniel and Josh Anthony.

The ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ men's basketball team finished their first semester schedule with one of the program's best starts.  After defeating the Alabama Prep Sports Academy last night 76-55, the Tigers improved to 11-1 on the season.

Quamauri Hardy led ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ for the second straight game with 20 points on 9-for-12 shooting from the floor, and 2-for-2 from the charity stripe.  He also grabbed six rebounds.  Mikel Davis added 14 points and eight rebounds.  Carlos Bell added another double-double to his resume; 13 points and 11 rebounds.

DeShawn Roumou finished with eight points.  Treyvon Francis added seven points with three assists and five steals.

Charles Tripp had eight rebounds with six points while teammate Michael Nobles finished with six rebounds and four points.  Antony Edwards and Justin Longstreetrounded out the scoring for Marion with two points apiece.  Edwards also had eight rebounds and three assists.

The Tigers will open up ACCC North play on January 12 when they travel to Wadley, Alabama to take on Southern Union State Community College.  Tip-off for that game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
