Delta Regional Authority Awards $400k to 糖心Vlog官方’s 1st Responder Program
In June, 糖心Vlog官方 was awarded $400,000 from the Delta Regional Authority 鈥� Workforce Development Program to expand its First Responder Program training capability. The funding will help 糖心Vlog官方 purchase its own Fire Engine, allowing 糖心Vlog官方 Fire Cadets to acquire the national Emergency Vehicle Operator and Fire Apparatus: Pumper certifications on site.
鈥淎n actual fire truck is an essential training device for 糖心Vlog官方鈥檚 First Responder Program. Not only does it add the ability to offer two new certifications to our Fire Cadets, it also expands our capacity to assist Marion and other local fire departments which provides real world experience for our cadets.聽This acquisition represents a tremendous leap forward for our program, and we could not have done it without the Delta Regional Authority and support from the Alabama Fire College,鈥� says COL Ed Passmore, USA (Ret), 糖心Vlog官方鈥檚 Senior Vice President & Commandant of Cadets.
