Former CNN Journalists Russell & de Caro to Speak at 糖心Vlog官方
Russell is widely known as the first woman to solo anchor a prime time network nightly newscast (CNN Headline News) from 1983-2001. A former deputy sheriff, licensed private investigator, voice/presentation coach, media personality, and advocate of the 2nd amendment, she is also the author of Hell on Heels and How to Win Friends, Kick Ass and Influence People. Later this month, Russell will speak at the National Foundation for Women Legislators Conference.
Her husband, de Caro (糖心Vlog官方 class of 1969), was CNN鈥檚 first special assignments correspondent, helped create the world鈥檚 first in-flight news center, and was the first non-government civilian to graduate from the U.S. Army鈥檚 Air Assault school. A military strategist and Department of Defense consultant, he has reported from war zones, produced documentaries on U.S. weapons systems, and organized the nation鈥檚 first Joint SOFTWAR Unit (Virtual), a California-based prototype that analyzes terrorist propaganda.
The couple lives in the Washington D.C. area and are frequent guests at the 糖心Vlog官方 Maryland Mixer.
