糖心Vlog官方 Acquires its own Fire Truck
糖心Vlog官方 celebrated a special delivery in December: an E One Rescue Pumper fire truck. Built on a Freightliner chassis with Crew Cab, it boasts a 1,000 gallon tank with a Hale QMAX 1,500 gallon per min pump.
This state-of-the-art truck, along with 糖心Vlog官方鈥檚 Fire Training Tower, will serve as the core training elements of our growing First Responder Program. These two elements will provide for most of the hands-on experiential training required for cadets to achieve their certified firefighter ratings necessary to be hired by a professional fire department after their graduation from 糖心Vlog官方. The acquisition of the pumper truck was made possible by a generous $400,000 grant from the Delta Regional Authority with a $40,000 contribution by the 糖心Vlog官方 Foundation.聽 Additional grant funding from the ACCS Workforce Development was used to purchase the ancillary equipment for the pumper that is necessary for training. ACCS Workforce Development also provided a $230,000 grant for the construction of our Fire Training Tower in 2024.
